Welcome to January’s Newsletter!

Hi All

I hope you have all managed to have the best Christmas and New Year that you could.
2020 was a very strange year for all of us, in many ways.
In fact, I have rewritten this newsletter several times, over several days, trying to sum up 2020 and set out my mission for 2021. But my thoughts and feelings for 2020 are very varied and oft changing!
There were some very sad and dark days in 2020, but also, there were some great positives.
2020 made me slow down. 2020 made me reassess. 2020 made me look at what I thought was the norm and took for granted.
So, 2020 has brought me a whole new view on what I want for my life and that of my family and for my business. It has made me change my goal posts.

So, my current Goals (although if 2020 has taught us anything, it is that plans can change in a heartbeat!) are as follows:

1. I am still going to set my Goals for the Year
2. My Goals this year are going to have a different focus.
Rather than focusing on achievements, I am setting goals to bring Rhythm to my life – Allocating time for myself, my family, friends, work, study and travel (hopefully!), spending less time on Social Media, that sort of thing.

The start of a new year is a really good time to think about yourself and what you want for the next twelve months, I strongly advise you to set yourself some goals, even if its just to make sure you have 60mins a week to yourself to attend your Yoga or Pilates class 😉

Speaking of which….
As we are back in Lockdown, I have had to close the studio again. So, we are back, for now at least, just to online classes.
These start again from Monday 12th January.
They will be available to book through GymCatch as normal.
Anyone who has outstanding Sessions from Bundles, don’t worry, I know who you are and you wont lose your sessions.
Once we reopen the studio again, I will re-instate any owed sessions..
Whilst there are advantages to working from home, I really do miss being in the studio with you all, my studio family

As a final thought, please spare a thought for your mental health.
I know this is being said a lot at the moment, but, you are allowed to feel a bit fed up, feel free to feel a bit sorry for yourself.
2020 and the start of 2021 has definitely presented quite a few difficulties. I think we are all feeling a bit Meh!
So, I thought this might be of interest to you –
Radio X has teamed up with CALM (Campaign Against Living Miserably) to launch a Mental Health Toolkit – some short podcasts around Mental Health, you can find more information and link here

Can’t wait to see you all back on (your) Mat!
