Welcome to April’s Newsletter!

Hi All

It’s been a busy few weeks. It’s been great seeing everyone achieve in class and accomplish new moves. I’m really impressed with everyone’s efforts.

Yoga for Kids
At the end of February, I qualified as a Children’s Yoga instructor.
I’m now able to teach from age 3 upward.
I’m looking to start kids classes in the next month or so, depending on interest.
You’d like more info, please let me know.
My current thoughts are:
Monday 3:30 – 4:15 Reception & KS1 age
Monday 6-7 High School/Teen
Tuesday 11:15 – 12:00 Kids & Carer’s
Wednesday 3:30 – 4:15 KS2 age
Does that work for people?

I would also like to take classes into nursery’s, schools and colleges.
So, if anyone has contacts they would like to share, I’d really appreciate it. Thank you.

Ayurveda Dosha’s
In Yoga this week, we were discussing Ayurvedic Dosha (personality) types.
Ayurvedic medicine (“Ayurveda” for short) is one of the world’s oldest holistic systems.
It was developed more than 3,000 years ago in India.
It’s based on the belief that health and wellness is a delicate balance between the mind, body, and spirit. Its main goal is to promote good health, not fight disease.
Each person is either Pita, Vata or Kapha.
This dictates what you should eat, how you sleep and what exercises you should do.
If you are interested in finding out your Dosha, have a go at the following quiz. It’s very interesting.
No-one would be surprised to find I am a mix of all 3, but with Pita in dominance.

One2One/Small Groups
If you went to add more to your practice, don’t forget I also do private One2One or Small Group Sessions (max of 3 people). These are by appointment and cost £50 for an hour or £25 for 30mins. Please feel free to ask me for more info, or see the Yoga & Pilates website.

The new websites are now up and running.
